Three years ago, Endrian Banks began attending a Bible study over Zoom with Cyndi Keiser, Scott Annis, and other members of Buford Family Church. She was first invited by a Baptist friend volunteering at the Buford Community Center, who was connected to Jovanna Baines. Jovanna invited Kymberlee, and Kymberlee, in turn, invited Endrian—who continued attending faithfully and growing in her understanding.
Although Kymberlee eventually stopped attending, Endrian remained deeply grateful, often thanking her for leading her to what she describes as the truth.
Over a year ago, Endrian expressed her desire to be baptized. She hoped to share that moment with those she had been studying with, and in what many saw as perfect timing, that opportunity finally came. As it happened, everyone from the Zoom study was planning to attend the RYN Retreat last weekend, making it the ideal setting for her baptism.
At the retreat, Endrian was baptized in the lake, with Scott Annis officiating as pastor. It was a meaningful and joyful moment for all who had been part of her journey.
Endrian has been attending Belvedere Seventh-day Adventist Church, near where she lives. In another remarkable moment, three members of the church happened to be present at the lake and stopped to witness the baptism. They warmly welcomed Endrian into their congregation and exchanged contact information to stay connected.
Moments like these remind us how everything can come together in unexpected and meaningful ways.
Praise God.
